Deployment
Once all prerequisites have been satisfied, you are ready to begin deploying Robust Intelligence.
Cluster Creation
Based on your environment’s constraints, your Solutions Architect (SA) will recommend deploying directly through Helm or with the automated Terraform modules (currently only for AWS, but support for other cloud providers is actively underway).
To begin the deployment, please follow the instructions for your deployment methodology below.
Deploying directly through Helm is the most flexible approach, but doing so requires you to take responsibility for provisioning resources (e.g., setting up an OIDC provider for your EKS cluster).
To begin, follow the instructions for “Self-Hosted Installation” in the README here: Robust Intelligence Helm Repository
Once complete, sign in to your Robust Intelligence domain as an Administrator using the one-time credentials that you configured during deployment. These credentials should be stored in the relevant Kubernetes secret (or Helm values), depending on your configuration.
You will be prompted to reset your password during the first sign-in.
Afterwards, proceed to Data Integrations below to begin configuring access from your Self-Hosted cluster to your data sources.
Deploying through the automated Terraform modules combines the steps of provisioning resources and installing Helm charts so that you need only execute one process to instantiate a Robust Intelligence cluster.
To begin, follow the instructions in the README here: Robust Intelligence Terraform Repository
Once complete, sign in to your Robust Intelligence domain as an Administrator using the one-time credentials that you configured during deployment. These credentials should be stored in the relevant secret in AWS Secrets Manager.
You will be prompted to reset your password during the first sign-in.
Afterwards, proceed to Data Integrations below to begin configuring access from your Self-Hosted cluster to your data sources.
Data Integrations
Once your deployment is operational, your cluster should have a default Object Storage (e.g,. AWS S3 Bucket) data source configured. Follow the instructions below to configure additional data sources for your team.
